NEXTILE (T series)

This is a diamond abrasive grain-embedded type lapping pad developed for the lapping of materials such as glass, quartz, and various ceramics. It features a low environmental impact, as no abrasive slurry is required in the lapping process.
Diamond abrasive grains are available in two sizes: approximately 4 μm for excellent surface quality and approximately 9 μm for superior lapping efficiency.

  • For lapping of various optical glasses and quartz
  • For lapping of hard-to-machine materials such as SiC, AlN, and alumina

Secondary processing and shipping conditions

  • NEXTILE series can be supplied with double-sided adhesive on the back.
  • Slurry hole processing can be added to the pad upon request.
  • NEXTILE series can be supplied in any of the specified sizes and shapes, including round, square, and donut shapes, upon request.
